INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Horizon League announced its weekly Athlete of the Week award as Oakland University Track and Field's Connor Goetz and Rachel Kempf swept on both the men's and women's sides.

Goetz finished the Bison Outdoor Classic's Men's 5,000m race in 14:03.58 for the second-fastest mark all-time in Oakland history, establishing the top time in the Horizon League this season by a little less than 16 seconds.

Kempf completed 25 laps in the Women's 10,000m race at the Bison Outdoor Classic in 35:55.28 as the senior is now second in the conference in that same event, besting other harriers from the league by nearly 20 seconds.

Both Golden Grizzlies squads will be in action this weekend, April 22-23, in Rochester at the Elaine Leigh Track & Field Complex for the namesake Elaine Leigh Invitational.
