ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland women's basketball team closes out the regular season as they travel to Northern Kentucky Thursday, followed by a Saturday match-up at Wright State.
Thursday's game will tipoff at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+. Oakland fell to the Norse in the last meeting, 79-67 despite four Golden Grizzlies scoring in double-figures.
Kayla Luchenbach tied a career high with 18 points to go along with a team-high eight rebounds.

Aaliyah McQueen (13) and
C'Erra Maholmes (12) set career-highs as well.
The Golden Grizzlies are coming off a 58-56 win on senior day over Purdue Fort Wayne. Beatty (14),
Kahlaijah Dean (13) and
Kendall Folley (12) guided Oakland in scoring on the day.
Oakland will take on the Raiders Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. from the Nutter Center. Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Oakland defeated Wright State 62-51 in the first meeting of the season led by Beatty who tallied 16 points, while Luchenbach and Folley finished with 14 and 10 points respectively.
The 2022 Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 1 and 3 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 7-8 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
The Golden Grizzlies currently sit in seventh place at 12-13, 10-8 in Horizon League play.
