ROCHESTER, Mich. – On Wednesday, Oakland University Swimming & Diving student-athletes Marko Khotynetskyi and Susan LaGrand garnered the weekly #HLSD Swimmer of the Week awards, moving OU's total honors to three in the young season.

Khotynetskyi placed first in the 200 IM, the 100 fly, and the 100 back, recording a time of 1:50.87 in the 200-yard IM and a time of 48.93 in the 100-yard butterfly. Notably, Khotynetskyi went on to then dominate the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48:07 and was 2nd to his teammate in the 200 back. He also swam on four victorious relays that established top times in the Horizon League.

LaGrand finished first recording a time of 2:03.60 in the 200-yard IM and went on to take first in the 100-yard backstroke swimming in at a time of 56.24 and the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:00.96. She also received first place for the 200-yard butterfly coming in at a time of 2:05.22. She also swam a leg on all four relays that finished second, but lead the Horizon League in times.
