ROCHESTER, Mich - Oakland's own Yami Albrecht was selected for the Nike #HLXC athlete of the week following his performance at the Bradley Pink Classic.

Albrecht recorded the fastest time this season so far by any Golden Grizzly athlete as he ran the 8,000-kilometer race finishing in a final time of 24:06. With this impressive time, he placed 31st out of 289 other athletes running in the event. 

The Golden Grizzlies will be hosting the Horizon League Championships on Saturday, October 29 in Rochester, Michigan on the Oakland Cross Country Country Field.
