Box Score ROCHESTER, Mich - The Oakland Women's Soccer team completed one of their last four #HLWSOC matchups for this season with Northern Kentucky this evening. Finishing with a solid 1-0 win, this builds the Golden Grizzlies' three-game winning streak and they continue to string these dominating victories together to cap off the fall season with a new record of 6-2-7. 

Carmela Barro tallied her second goal of the season as she drove the ball into the back of the net with an assist from Sami Lopez just short of the 20-minute mark to put Oakland on the board. The Golden Grizzlies carried then this energetic momentum throughout the rest of the game as we saw 13 more shot attempts covering a range of players to test the Norse. Not only did they come out with an strong win, but the Oakland defense put up a absolute front tonight taking control of the ball and not allowing any opportunities for the Norse to score in both the first and second half of the game this evening. 

Noëmi Stadelmann upheld the net tonight for the Golden Grizzlies going two-for-two between the posts adding two more saves to her now 35 saves this season so far. Stadelmann allowed no goals for the Norse this evening leaving them to walk away tonight scoreless.
