ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland extended their win streak over cross-town rival Detroit Mercy to nine, winning 80-50 as four Golden Grizzlies scored in double figures.
Aaliyah McQueen set a new career high of 15 points, shooting 3-5 from deep to lead Oakland in scoring.
Kendall Folley set a new career high in assists, dishing out six dimes.

C'Erra Maholmes each scored 11 for Oakland. Luchenbach led the team in rebounding with nine.
The assist battle went to Oakland 19-4, the Golden Grizzlies out-rebounded Detroit 46-34. Oakland had 22 second chance points to Detroit's eight, and had 47 points from their bench. The Golden Grizzly defense held UDM to 32% from the floor and 0-7 from three. Â
The Golden Grizzlies defense gave them an early 10-4 lead at the first media timeout. Detroit had three turnovers to Oakland's one. Oakland got to the free throw line early as well, hitting 3-4 of their early attempts. Maholmes led all scorers after five minutes, scoring six points, including a three.Â
Blackwell gave Oakland their first double-digit lead on a put-back floater, as Oakland went up 17-6. The Golden Grizzly defense held Detroit without a point for four minutes, closing out the quarter strong. They took a 17-7 lead into the second quarter.
The Titans offense opened the second quarter stronger. In three minutes, Detroit nearly matched their first quarter total. The Oakland offense was able to keep pace, attacking the inside of the Titans' zone and continuing to draw contact.Â
A 6-0 Oakland run, capped off by a three on one fast break for a layup, forced Detroit to call a timeout. The Golden Grizzlies led 25-13. Turnovers continued to be the difference, with Oakland winning that battle 8-3.Â
McQueen got going in the second, scoring seven consecutive points for Oakland. McQueen, fresh off a career high 13 points against Northern Kentucky, provided a spark to help Oakland stretch their lead to 15 in the second.Â
The assist differential was evident in the first. Oakland had 12, compared to Detroit's two. It was a big second quarter, Oakland shot 53% from the floor and 75% from deep.Â
Blackwell hit a corner three with 2 minutes remaining, giving Oakland a 20-point lead. The Oakland defense held Detroit to 1-12 from the floor over a five and a half minute span, giving the offense chances to capitalize. At halftime, Oakland led 40-17. Blackwell (11) and Maholmes (10) each hit double figures in the first half. Â
Detroit put up a fight to start the third quarter. After falling further behind, the Titans went on a 5-0 run, forcing Oakland to call timeout. Another McQueen three stopped that run, giving Oakland a 25-point lead midway through the third.Â
After three quarters, Oakland still held a commanding 26-point lead, 60-34. Luchenbach hit three straight shots for the Golden Grizzlies to propel Oakland to a 7-0 quarter-ending run.Â
The momentum continued to be in Oakland's favor, as the Golden Grizzlies opened up the fourth on an 11-3 run. McQueen hit another three, tying her career high set just five days prior.
Kennedie Montue hit her second three of the night, matching her career high she set against Milwaukee.Â
Oakland closed out the fourth, winning 80-50. The win marked the ninth consecutive victory over Detroit. Next up, a rematch against UDM in Detroit at Calihan Hall, Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m.
