Mikey Ketteman scored two goals,
Charlie Braithwaite posted his first goal of the season while
Noah Jensen added three assists as Oakland won its second straight match with a 3-0 shutout over visiting Dayton on Wednesday at the Oakland Soccer Field.
Ville Ahola also added a pair of first assists on both of Ketteman's goals.
Alessio Carbone posted his second straight clean sheet while Ketteman has now recorded a goal in each of the last three games.
Braithwaite got Oakland on the board in the 18th minute off a feed from Jensen for the eventual game-winner.
In the 54th minute of the second half, Ketteman gave the Golden Grizzlies a 2-0 advantage placing a shot past Dayton keeper Marc Kouadio off a through-ball feed from Ahola.
The tandem struck again in the 79th minute as Jensen sent a feed over to Ahola who in turn slotted the ball over to Ketteman who finished with a shot into the right side of the net.
Oakland continues non-conference play at DePaul on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
