ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland Esports Rocket League team has qualified for the College Carball Association (CCA) Summer Series league play and will take on Georgia Tech Thursday, July 8 at 8 p.m. to open up the event.

The Golden Grizzlies will compete twice a week for the next six weeks, with playoffs following. The playoff rounds will be a staggered double elimination with the top-four teams advancing to the championship.

The CCA Summer Series has a $30,000 total prize pool.
