ALBERQUERE, New Mexico – The Oakland men finish the NCAA Regionals in 13^th place and were led by Thomas Giroux who tied for 36th after shooting 71 (-1) today and carding a tournament total of 218 (+2)
 
Chris Handy finished second for the Golden Grizzlies and tied for 58th in the tournament. Handy finished the day with75 (+3) and a tournament total of 225 (+9)
 
Colin Sikkenga finished tied for 61st in the tournament and recorded a third-round score of 74 (+2) and a three-round total of 226 (+10)
 
Kyle Petrovich opened the final day with a birdie and took tied for 67th place. Petrovich finished the tournament with 233 (+17). Freshman of the Year, Yaroslav Ilyenko tied with Petrovich overall and carded an 80 (+8) for the final round.
 
In their first team NCAA Regional appearance in team history, the Oakland men finished in 13^th place with a score of 900 (+36). Texas Tech took the first place slot.
