ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Golden Grizzlies will host the last home meet of the season, the Grizzly Mini Meet on Friday, Apr. 30 at the Elaine Leigh Track and Field Complex. 

At the Elaine Leigh Track and Field Invitational on Apr. 24, Jimmie Williams broke the school record in the 400 with a time of 46.88 while also winning the 200 in 21.45s. Azsah Bradley won the 100 with a time of 11.94 and the 200 (24.66).

Oakland swept the men's and women's 1500 with Maryam Sheena winning with a time of (4:40.79) followed by Ashley Quinn in second (4:41.37) while Yami Albrecht won for the men (3:56.71) followed by T.J. Brooks Jr. in second (3:58.01). 

In the field events, Alex Hugh-Plott won the men's high jump (6 ft., 7 in.) while on the women's side Hannah Hall finished in second place (5 ft., 7 in.), narrowly missing the win due to tiebreaker rules.  Alexis Hunter won the triple jump with a distance of 37 ft., 11.25 in. while Chase Novak won for the men (46 ft., 1.25 in.).
