Q&A with senior Thomas Giroux from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada
Q: What is your favorite course that you've played?
A: Probably my home course back home. It's called The Club at North Halton. I play it basically every day in the summer and it never gets old. 

Q: If you could pick your dream foursome, who would be the three other golfers to join you?
A: Tiger woods, John Daily, annnnd probably Ben Holt.

Q: What do you think about on the golf course to calm you after a bad hole?
A: Just kind of like past experiences, I know it's not going to happen at every hole so just try to bounce back and do what I know I can.

Q: In a singles match between you and your coach, who would win and why?
A: It's pretty close! I would say me more often now but definitely when i started at school he would beat me most of the time. 

Q: Favorite memory at Oakland?
A: Probably our spring break this year. We got to go out to California. San Francisco was a great place to be and that was a good memory with the team.

Q: What made you choose Oakland?
A: Coach Pumford was a big part of me coming here. It's also not too far from home which added to the decision as well. Those are probably two of the main factors. 

Q: Which of the two Oakland courses do you prefer?
A: I prefer Sharf more. It's a little more fun to play.

Q: Who is your favorite professional golfer?
A: Tiger Woods.

Q: If you could play any course in the world where would you like to play?
A: Augusta.

Q: What is your best part of the game? Short game? Driving?
A: I'd say probably irons. My mid- range game is where I'm the best.
