ROCHESTER, Mich. – Alexa Sabbagh scored the Golden Grizzlies' lone goal as the Oakland women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw Tuesday from the Grizz Dome.
Oakland (5-2-2) celebrated its three seniors on Tuesday,
Hollie Clement,
Jaimie Leas and
Ashley Postma.
Sabbagh put the Golden Grizzlies on the board first scoring her fourth goal of the season at the 32:04 mark of the first half. Clement and
Sami Lopez tallied the assists on the play. Sabbagh's four goals is a team-high, while the assist from Lopez marks her seventh of the season, a team-best.
A set piece off a corner kick at 64:24 led to a Mastodon's (3-4-1) goal to even things up at 1-1.
Neither team was able to score after that, despite two 10 minute overtime periods.
Noemi Stadelmann tallied three saves on the afternoon.
The Golden Grizzlies conclude the regular season Monday, April 5 at 4 p.m. (ET) on the road at Milwaukee.
