TOLEDO, Ohio - The Oakland women's tennis team fell 7-0 at Toledo on Wednesday afternoon at the UT Varsity Courts. After, dropping the first set, Mia Melnizki pushed Eileen Carney in the second set before falling 6-1, 7-5.

After winning the doubles point, the Rockets were able to win all the singles matches in straight sets to secure the match win.

Due to a shortened roster this season, Oakland has to start each competition with a forfeit at the No. 3 doubles position and an additional forfeit at the No. 6 singles position.

Oakland concludes non-conference play at Valparaiso on Saturday, Mar. 13 at 2 p.m.
