INDIANAPOLIS — Oakland's Christian Bart was named Nike® #HLSD Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season as the Horizon League announced its weekly awards Wednesday afternoon. 

Bart won four events and broke a school record to help the Golden Grizzlies to a third-place finish at the Zippy Invitational in Akron, Ohio. On day one, he raced to a winning time of 19.60 in the 50-yard freestyle finals, which bested the previous school record of 19.63 set by Chris Sullivan in 2003. The redshirt junior also helped the Golden Grizzlies to a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:20.27) and captured a second-place mark in the 100-yard breaststroke A-final (52.90) on day two. Bart closed the three-day event by taking home first-place honors in the 100-yard freestyle (43.70) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (2:56.58).
