MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – Oakland will battle Milwaukee for the Horizon League Champion title on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. CT at Engelmann Stadium.

The Golden Grizzlies took down NKU in a 3-1 victory last night to secure their ticket to the final match Saturday. Junior defender Maggie Rimer quickly settled a cross before sending it into the back left corner of the net. Only 19 minutes later, All-Freshman team selection, Sharon Sampson, sent one into the back net with a one-touch volley from Sami Lopez's cross. Ashley Postma tallied her third goal of the season from wide outside the 18-yard box. 

Milwaukee and Oakland finished first and second in the league, respectively, and will have a tight matchup tomorrow. Both teams had several players named to the all-league teams. 

Oakland will make their first appearance in the Horizon League final since earning their championship title against Wright State in 2015.
