ROCHESTER, Mich. – In a 1-0 shutout, the Golden Grizzlies extended their winning streak to five games against the IUPUI Jaguars on Saturday, Oct. 23.Â
Dylan Borczak posted the lone goal for the Golden Grizzlies, his seventh of the season. The strike to the top left corner got by the goalkeeper in the 75th minute, breaking a long scoring drought for both sides.
Mikey Ketteman recorded his third assist of the season on Borczak's game-winner.Â

Finn Jurak recorded zero saves in a clean sheet victory. Oakland out-shot IUPUI 17-12, including a 4-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Jaguars committed 12 fouls to Oakland's eight, including four yellow cards.Â
The conference win over IUPUI improved Oakland's record to 6-1-1 in Horizon League play, 8-5-2 overall.
Next on the slate for the Golden Grizzlies is Bowling Green on Tuesday, Oct. 26. That game kicks off at 7 p.m. on Oakland's home turf. After the fixture vs. Bowling Green, the men's soccer team closes out its regular season with back-to-back Horizon League matches. They host Milwaukee on Saturday, Oct. 30 and travel to Northern Kentucky for their final match on Wednesday, Nov. 3.Â
