PRO ALUMS
Keith Benson (2011 alum) averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for Rytas Vilnius in the Lithuanian LKL. Benson posted 17 points and nine rebounds for Rytas in its final game of the season. The center has enjoyed a 10-year career in professional basketball, which has included stints with the Golden State Warriors (2012), Sioux Falls Skyforce (2015-17), and several European clubs.
Kendrick Nunn has scored in double-digits in six-consecutive games for the Miami Heat. The former Oakland guard averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game on 60 percent shooting in two matchups at Toronto. On the season, he is averaging 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
Xavier Hill-Mais has impressed in his first season of professional basketball with BC Novosybirsk in the Russia Superleague 1. The former Oakland standout (2015-20) was named MVP after recording 19 points and eight rebounds in Novosybirsk's 86-81 win 12th-ranked Univ.Surgut. The first-year professional is averaging 13.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game on the season.
PLAYER RECOGNITION
Moore was named to the 2020-21 Lou Henson Award mid-season watch list. The Olney Central College transfer was one of 40 players across 21 eligible conferences named to the list. The award is presented annually to the nation's top mid-major player in Division I.

WEEKEND RESULTS
GAME 1 - W, 86-81
Oakland won its third-straight Horizon League contest with a 86-81 victory over the Detroit Mercy Titans. The Golden Grizzlies had three players score in double figures, led by Young, who had 28 points on perfect 9-of-9 shooting from 3-point territory in just 22 minutes. The shooting mark was the most-consecutive 3-pointers made without a miss in program history. Myke Thom previously broke the record in 1998 with seven-consecutive makes. Moore tacked on Oakland's first triple-double in nearly five years while Daniel Oladapo helped out with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and five rebounds.
GAME 2 - L, 82-72
Rashad Williams collected 24 points and Moore added 23, but the Oakland men's basketball team fell to Detroit Mercy, 82-72, Saturday evening inside the O'rena. The loss broke Oakland's 10-game winning streak against the Titans that spanned over four years. Moore added a game-high 11 assists for his fifth-straight double-double. Micah Parrish helped out with six points, eight rebounds, and a career-best four steals, while Daniel Oladapo chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and three assists.
