INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland's
Rashad Williams was blistering from long range making 10 3-pointers at Oklahoma State to earn Nike® #HLMBB Player of the Week, as the Horizon League announced its men's basketball weekly awards on Monday.
Williams played just one minute in Oakland's first matchup of the week against Purdue due to injury, but bounced back in a big way in the weekend finale against Oklahoma State. The junior scored a game-high 32 points, recording a career-best 10 triples. Williams finished the game with 22 field goal attempts on the day, with 20 of them coming from behind the arc. His 20 triple attempts set a school record, surpassing
Kendrick Nunn's 19 in 2017 against Green Bay. The Detroit native's 10 3-pointers puts him tied for second in program history. Williams also added three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
