PREASEASON POLL | Oakland was picked to finish sixth in the 2020-21 Horizon League Men's Basketball Preseason Poll announced by the league office. The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches, media members, and men's basketball media contacts throughout the league.
RASHAD WILLIAMS EARNS PRESEASON RECOGNITION | Oakland University Athletics announced on Thursday, January 16, that the NCAA has granted men's basketball student-athlete
Rashad Williams' transfer waiver, and has ruled Williams immediately eligible for competition. Williams, a Detroit native (Wayne Memorial High School), averaged 10.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game during the 2018-19 season at Cleveland State University.
The junior guard is coming off a 2019-20 campaign where he led the team in averaging 19.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, starting all 15 games he appeared in.
