
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich - Caleb Timm was the lone competitor at SVSU as he completed the rest of his events in the heptathlon. Timm came back with a vengeance and finished third overall with 4291 points.

Hannah Hall recorded a first place finish in high jump, just missing the school record, clearing a height of 5 ft., 6 in.
Jimmie Williams placed first in the 300m dash with a time of 33.51 while
Chanel Gardner placed runner-up in the women's heat by a time of 39.91. Freshman Justin Kudera picked up a solid first place win in the 400m (50.00) while
Johnathon Sholl was right on his heels placing second (50.30). Payton Sabourin (59.44) and
Hannah Coverdill (1:00.44) placed eighth and ninth in the women's 400m heat.
Alex Hugh-Plott continued to display consistency in high jump as he finished in third overall with a mark of 6 ft., 6 in.
Chase Novak was the top finisher for Oakland in triple jump recording a mark of 42 ft., 10.75 in. while Markael Williams (41 ft., 8.75 in.) and
Sam Narusch placed seventh and ninth respectively.
Paige Sanders placed seventh in the women's triple jump with a leap of 35 ft., 3 in.
Eddie Harrell III worked his way to a fifth place finish in the 800m heat, crossing the finish line at 2:01.68.
Nate Corcoran-Miller placed tenth in the heat behind Harrell.
The Golden Grizzlies will return to the track next weekend as the team will compete at the Central Michigan University Jack Skoog Invite. In addition,
Zach Stadnika, after special invitation, will pack his bags and head to Houston to compete in the Houston 5G & Super 22 Invitational hosted by the University of Houston.
