ROCHESTER, Mich. --
Lindsay Wightman recorded 23 digs, five assists and one service ace as the Oakland volleyball team defeated Miami (OH) in four sets Saturday inside the O'rena. Wightman has now recorded three straight matches of 20 digs or more.
Offensively,
Jamie Walling led the Golden Grizzlies with 13 kills, plus added seven digs and three blocks. Not far behind was
Taylor Dellinger who recorded 12 kills and
Brittany Welch added eight kills plus eight digs and three blocks.
Megan Hobler added five kills in seven attempts, good for a .714 hitting percentage and also had four blocks.
Jessica Riedl registered five kills as well, and hit .500 in addition to four blocks.
AnnaBelle Tomei handed out 20 assists and had 10 digs.
Oakland (5-4) will begin a five-match road trip starting with Pac-12 foe Colorado on Sept. 20.
