Sabbagh's goal, her second of the year, came in the 24
thminute of the game off a pass from
Kendra Zak.
Oakland (1-0-1) was solid defensively as goalkeeper Noemi Stadelmann recorded her first career shutout for the Golden Grizzlies.
Macey Wierenga tallied a game high four shots, two on goal.
The Golden Grizzlies welcome Eastern Kentucky for their home opener Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. Thursday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
