ROCHESTER, Mich. --
Madison Ross recorded a match high 23 assists and added 13 digs plus seven kills with a .312 hitting percentage as the Gold Team came back to defeat the Black Team 2-1 Saturday afternoon during the Oakland volleyball team's annual intrasquad scrimmage.
For the Gold Team,
Jamie Walling registered a match high 12 kills and added nine digs while
Megan Hobler recorded 11 kills plus seven blocks, including four solo.
Lindsay Wightman and
Brittany Welch added 13 and 10 digs respectively. The gold squad fell behind 25-14 after set one, but won the final two sets to complete the comeback.
On the Black Team,
Mackenzie Schneider led the way offensively with 11 kills while adding six blocks defensively.
Jessica Riedl added 10 kills and six blocks while
Katelyn Johnson led the defense with a match high 19 digs.
Taylor Dellinger registered nine kills and 10 digs,
Kenzie Dunn recorded 17 assists and 11 digs and
AnnaBelle Tomei notched 10 assists.
The Golden Grizzlies will return to action with an exhibition match at Eastern Michigan Saturday, August 24 at 1 p.m.
