NORMAN, Okla — The Oakland University men's golf team was named to the 2018-19 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic list announced by the organization Wednesday. 

The Golden Grizzlies were one of 193 schools and one of six Horizon League institutions to be selected after boasting a 3.23 grade-point average (GPA) for the 2018-19 season. To be eligible, a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year and have a team GPA of 3.0 or above. 

Oakland finished the 2018-19 campaign with a fourth-place finish at the Horizon League Championship and had two players earn all-league and all-tournament honors.
