Jamie Squires recorded one hit and two walks in the Golden Grizzlies 8-0, six inning loss to the Detroit Mercy Titans.

Shannon Carr also recorded one hit each.
Oakland loaded the bases on two occasions but couldn't find the timely hit to bring anyone home. The Golden Grizzlies left eight runners on base and tallied eleven strikeouts, courtesy of Detroit's starting pitcher, Mauser.
Chelsea Wiggins hurled 5.1 innings, allowing four hits and walking four batters.
The team will look to take the series as they play Detroit again tomorrow afternoon and 2 and 4 p.m.
