ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's basketball team begins its final week of the regular season with an important Thursday night matchup with UIC at 7 p.m. inside the O'rena. Thursday is Childhood Cancer Awareness Day sponsored by Northwestern Mutual and fans are encouraged to wear gold in support of the cause. Northwestern Mutual will be handing out Gold rally towels and will staff a lemonade stand on the concourse as part of the evening's promotion.

- Hill-Mais was named player of the week by the conference after scoring a game high 29 points, 22 of which came in the second half against the Titans. He shot 13 of 17 from the floor while registering seven rebounds and three blocks.
