INDIANAPOLIS – Redshirt junior Rachel Levy has been announced as the 2019 Female Alfreeda Goff Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year announced by the league office on Friday. The distance runner currently holds the top rank in the Horizon League for the one mile, 3000m as well as the 5000m.
 
Heading into Indoor championships, Levy has received the honor of being named the Women's Nike Runner of the Week three different times. In her final indoor season, Levy has broken three different school records: the mile at the Ice Breaker Dual Meet (4:56.57), the 3000m at the Notre Dame Meyo Invite (9:34.45) and the 5000m at the Iowa State Classic (16:36.31).
