GOLDEN GRIZZLIES DROP DOUBLEHEADER AT CAMPBELL

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After jumping on the board early, thanks to a double to right center from Mikayela Marciniak, the Golden Grizzlies put up three runs heading into the fourth inning. Timely hitting by the Camels allowed them to score 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth, which was all they needed as they took game one 11-5.
 
In the second game of the doubleheader, the Golden Grizzlies strung together three singles up the middle in a row by Jessie Munson, Marciniak and Brittney Miller, as Miller picked up an RBI as the Camels picked up the sweep 10-2. 
 
Oakland will look to bounce back against LaSalle and Fairfield on Saturday and Sunday.
