
ROCHESTER, Mich. – After a seven-game road swing, the Oakland women's basketball team returns home to host in-state opponent Central Michigan on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7 pm presented by United Shore. The game will be broadcast live from the Blacktop at the O'rena on ESPN3 with Brad Golder on the call.

Series History: Oakland leads the all-time series 12-10 with Central Michigan winning the last five consecutive games.
A look at the Chippewas: Junior Kelly Micaela (22.6 ppg) leads CMU in scoring followed by junior Kyra Bussell (14.5) and freshman Molly Davis (11.8). Bussell also leads the team in rebounds (7.1) while Davis leads in assists (4.3).
Last time out: Kayla Luchenbach posted a career-high 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line while
Kahlaijah Dean scored a season-high 19 points off the bench on 8-of-16 shooting and 3-of-6 from 3-point range as Oakland closed out a seven-game road swing with an 80-66 setback at St. Bonaventure on Sunday.
Lights Out Luchenbach: In addition to her new career high against the Bonnies, Luchenbach shot 5-for-9 from the field and went 7-for-9 at the free throw line to post her first career double-double with 17 points while matching a career-best 10 rebounds as Oakland fell at No. 15 Michigan State. She has now reached double figures in five games this season.
Magic number 800: Oakland currently sits at 799 overall program wins needing just one more to reach 800.

Jalisha Terry also leads the league (91.2) and ranks 13th nationally.
