Oakland's scoreless drought continued into the third quarter to trail by 33 points. The Golden Grizzlies then switched to a full court press and pushed the tempo offensively to cut the St. Bonaventure lead to 21 points heading into the fourth quarter.

Oakland continued to turn up the full court pressure to chip away at the St. Bonaventure lead as Breedy hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 13 points at 67-54 with 5:48 remaining in the fourth. However, the Golden Grizzlies would be not be able to cut into the lead and further down the stretch.
