ROCHESTER, Mich. - Kayla Luchenbach scored a career-high 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field while Kahlaijah Dean added a team-high 16 points as Oakland dropped the season opener, 74-58, to Bradley on Friday night.

Jalisha Terry scored nine points, while Alona Blackwell, Sydney Gouard and C'Erra Maholmes each added two points while Rickeisha Sheard tied a team-high with four rebounds in their collegiate debuts.

Oakland outscored Bradley 12-9 in the second quarter to trail by only three, 26-23, at halftime.

The third quarter proved to be the difference as the Braves opened the frame on 13-4 run and eventually outscored the Golden Grizzlies 27-13 shooting a blistering 64.7 percent to put the game out of reach.

Oakland will host Concordia on Monday, Nov. 11 at 7 . p.m.
