ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland men's basketball team will travel to DeKalb, Ill. To take on Northern Illinois Monday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. (ET) at the NIU Convocation Center.

The Bladensburg, Md. native averaged 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in the Sunshine Slam tournament to help guide Oakland to 2-1 record over the weekend
- The Golden Grizzlies return redshirt-senior and First Team All-Horizon League selection Xavier Hill-Mais who averaged 18.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in 2018-19
- Brad Brechting also returns for his redshirt-senior campaign. The 6-11 center appeared in all 33 games, making 27 starts last season, and aver- aged 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in league play
- Head coach Greg Kampe enters his 36th season at the helm of the Golden Grizzlies and is the third-most tenured active coach at one school behind Duke's Mike Krzyzewksi (40 seasons) and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim (44 seasons)
- Oakland added 10 newcomers to the 2019-20 squad, including three transfers in Kevin Kangu (Vincennes University), Daniel Oladapo (Chipola College) and Rashad Williams (Cleveland State)
