ROCHESTER, Mich. – Xavier Hill-Mais scored a game high 17 points and added 11 rebounds as the Oakland men's basketball team took down Hartford, 60-50 Monday from the O'rena on military appreciation night presented by Army.

Hill-Mais went 7 of 9 from the floor and added three assists. The redshirt seniors' 17 point performance marks his second straight double-digit game.

Daniel Oladapo also recorded a double-double, his second for the Golden Grizzlies, scoring 12 points, shooting 80 percent from the floor (4-5) and pulling down 12 boards.

Kevin Kangu added 11 points and dished out two assists.

Oakland (4-2) led by as much as 18 in the first half, and went into the break with a 15 point advantage, leading 34-19.

The Golden Grizzlies outrebounded the Hawks 45-49 and were able to chip in 14 second chance points.

Hartford's (3-2) 50 points marks the third game this season Oakland has held its opponents under 60 points.
