OAKLAND DROPS REGULAR SEASON FINALE TO WRIGHT STATE

The Golden Grizzlies honored four seniors in Saturday's celebration

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Taylor Dellinger, Megan Hobler, Mackenzie Schneider and Courtney Wightman were honored Saturday at the O'rena on senior day. The Oakland volleyball team fell to Wright State, 3-1.
 
Dellinger recorded a match-high 14 kills, hitting .364 on the day, while Jamie Walling tallying 11 kills on 34 attempts.
 
Kenzie Dunn registered 21 assists, five digs and one ace. AnnaBelle Tomei added 15 assists and five digs of her own.
 
Defensively, Lindsay Wightman led Oakland with 18 digs, while Brittany Welch tallied 12.
 
The Golden Grizzlies (8-8) will enter the Horizon League tournament as the no. 6 seed and will take on no. 3 Green Bay (12-4) Friday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. from Wright State.
