ROCHESTER, Mich. –The Oakland women's soccer team will travel to take on Cleveland State Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
Oakland (3-5-1, 1-1 HL) played to a 1-1 double overtime draw the last time out against Cleveland State (3-6-2, 1-2 HL).
 
The Golden Grizzlies have a busy week ahead, playing three games in seven days beginning with the Vikings on Sunday, Detroit Mercy on Wednesday (10/9) and IUPUI on Saturday (10/12).

• Alexa Sabbagh leads the team in points with nine, placing her eighth in the league with 1.00 per game
• Senior Sierra Grodsinsky leads the team in assists with three
• Sami Lopez (3), Brooklyn Blake (1), Grodsinsky (1), Ashley Postma(1) and Taylor Thalheimer (1) have also recorded goals on the year for the Golden Grizzlies
• Blake netted her first collegiate goal in a 1-0 double overtime win against league foe Youngstown State (9/20)
• Goalkeeper Jaimie Leas sits eighth in the league in saves per game (3.38)
• The Golden Grizzlies have already surpassed their goal total from a season ago, now with 11
• Lopez was named Nike Horizon League Player of the Week (9/2) after scoring two goals against Eastern Kentucky including the overtime game winner
• Oakland University is celebrating 25 years of women's soccer this season
