Jamie Walling recorded 14 kills, hitting .414 plus one dig and one block as the Oakland volleyball team swept Youngstown State in straight sets Saturday in its league opener at the O'rena.
Aleksandra Malek added nine kills while
Krysteena Davis registered eight kills and five blocks.
Abby Neidinger recorded seven kills, two digs and two blocks.
A pair of Golden Grizzlies notched double-digits digs as
Lindsay Wightman led the way with a match high 16 and
Jordan Lentz added 12 to go with her 29 assists and three blocks.
Oakland (5-7, 1-0 HL) will take on defending league champion Cleveland State tomorrow at 2 p.m. on ESPN3.
