ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland women's golf team will host its annual fall tournament in the 2018 Golden Grizzlies Invitational Monday, Sept. 24 through Tuesday, Sept. 25 at Katke-Cousins Golf Course. The 36-hole tournament will begin Monday at noon and Tuesday at 9 a.m. Live scoring will be available on BirdieFire.com.
Oakland won the invite last year as
Alexis Jones claimed the individual title. The Golden Grizzlies have three members of their roster who have won the tournament in Jones (2017),
Kylee Sullivan (2015) and
Elle Nichols (2014).
Last time out Oakland took fifth place at the NKU Fall Classic on Sept. 10-11 as Jones placed the highest for the Golden Grizzlies, tying for 14th place.
