TAMPA - Andrew Bowman qualified for the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. after placing eighth with a time of 8:46.35 in the 3000m steeplechase at the NCAA preliminary rounds. With his qualifying time, Bowman becomes the third student-athlete in Oakland history to qualify for Nationals.

Competition will continue tomorrow, May 26th at 8:05 pm where Jacob Bowman, Bryce Stroede and Rachel Levy will compete in the 5000m.
