May 10, 2018 ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland women's soccer staff will be hosting the very popular boys and girls Youth Camps which have full and half day options available in addition to the Senior Elite ID+ camp and Mental + Training Camp in June and July.
Youth Camp sessions:
Session I from June 25-29
Session II from July 16-20. This camp is open to boys and girls grades K-8th and is run jointly by our Oakland men's and women's soccer programs.
For older girls who are looking for an elite camp experience, the Senior Elite ID+ camp is set for on July 9th and 10th. This camp is unique because it serves three purposes:
1. Evaluation and identification for players looking to continue to play in college.
2. Development as our entire women's soccer coaching staff including our head coach, Juan Pablo Favero, are involved from start to finish.
3. Unique mental training opportunities are made available through the camp, both introductory and advanced. This camp is open to girls only and who are entering the 8th grade or older.
With that same emphasis on the mental side of soccer, our last camp this summer is the Mental + Training Camp which will take place on July 23rd. This camp combines technical development, but also a dedicated time in classroom sessions to help the players both in their current environment but also as they aim to play at a higher level. This camp is open for Girls only and entering the 6th grade or older.
