ROCHESTER, Mich. - For the second consecutive game, Leah Somerfield scored over 20 points with a team-high 21 on 7-of-11 shooting and a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc with seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals as Oakland's fourth quarter rally fell short with a 86-76 setback to visiting Youngstown State on Thursday night.

Taylor Jones added 13 points while Sha'Keya Graves and Cierra Bond each chipped in with 12 points. Down 13 points entering the fourth quarter, Oakland cut the lead to five, 80-75, with 2:35 to go but could not score another basket from the field down the stretch.

For the the first time in conference play this season, Oakland shot 50 percent from the field and from 3-point range but only managed 50 percent from the free throw line compared to 83 percent by YSU.

Oakland concludes its five-game home stand against Cleveland State on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m.
