Schedule of Events
 
ROCHESTER, Mich. -  The Golden Grizzlies will travel to their final meet before the holiday break at Saginaw Valley State University, December 7-8. The women's pentathlon will begin at 12 p.m. while all other events will start at 4 p.m.
 
Last season at the SVSU Holiday Open, Corey Goodloe and Chanel Gardner both won the 600m heat with times of 1:22.23 and 1:37.51, respectively. In addition, Andrea Koenigsknecht ran the 800m in 2:19.30 to capture the first place title. Brandon Davis also placed second in the long jump (22 ft., 5 in) and triple jump (44 ft. 2 in.).

Last weekend at the Tiffin Alumni Meet, Zach Stadnika broke the 2011 school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.21 and freshman Paige Sanders recorded her first collegiate win in the long jump with a mark of 17 ft., 9.5 in.
 
Brad Mallory took care of business on the distance side placing first in the men's 3000m (9:13.61) while the sprint medley of Gardner, Newburg, Pencak and Earles took first in the women's 4x400m with a time of 4:04.96.
