ROCHESTER, Mich. - Autumn Kissman scored a career-high eight points on 3-of-4 shooting with two blocks while Taylor Jones added a team-high 10 points as Oakland fell 102-58 to visiting Michigan State on ALS Awareness Night at the O'rena on Wednesday.

LaKyesha Stennis added nine points while Nikita Telesford grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. Defensively, Oakland (2-7) posted six blocks and 13 points off turnovers.

Oakland got off to a fast start with a 11-3 run to open the first quarter. After a MSU (7-1) timeout, the Spartans got hot from the floor going on a 17-4 run to close out the fame. MSU extended the run to 28-4 in the second quarter shooting a blistering 57 percent from behind the arc while holding the Golden Grizzlies to only seven points to move ahead for good.

Oakland will host Michigan in the Overflow the O game on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m.
