ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland men's basketball team opens Horizon League play by traveling to Cleveland State Friday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. inside the Wolstein Center. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and fans can also listen on WDFN-AM (1130) or with the iHeart Radio app.

Last time out, the Golden Grizzlies closed out non-conference play at No. 8 Michigan State, falling to the Spartans as Braden Norris hit a career high six three-pointers and matched a career best 18 points.

  • Xavier Hill-Mais leads the Horizon League and ranks sixth in the NCAA in field goals made (113).
  • Hill-Mais also ranks 11th in the NCAA in total points (290) and 18th in points per game (22.3).
  • Jaevin Cumberland leads the Horizon League in three-point field goal percentage (45.3 percent) and total minutes (479; 12th in the NCAA).
