ROCHESTER, Mich. - Taylor Jones scored a game-high 26 points while dishing a career-high nine assists with six rebounds and four steals while Chloe Guingrich posted a career-high 16 points with seven boards to lead Oakland to a convincing 94-48 win over Grace Christian in the home opener on Tuesday.

Myka Cromwell chipped in with a career-high 10 points while Alabama transfer LaKyesha Stennis also added 10 points in her Oakland debut after sitting out last season. Autumn Kissman hauled in a career-best nine rebounds while freshman Teneea Heston delivered a solid overall performance in her collegiate debut with seven points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

After a sluggish first half, Oakland blew the game open in the third quarter outscoring the Tigers 31-6. For the game, the Golden Grizzlies posted 56 points in the paint and scored 41 points off 24 GCU turnovers.

Oakland travels to Central Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
