ROCHESTER, Mich. – Due to possible rainy weather conditions, the Oakland men's soccer game against Northern Kentucky on homecoming Saturday, Oct. 6, has been rescheduled to a noon kick off and will not be broadcast on ESPN3.

Napoleon Outlaw III and
Elliott Bentley as the Golden Grizzlies came up short against No. 14 Michigan, 2-1, in front of a new Oakland Soccer Field record attendance of 2,344 at the Fill the Hill Game on Wednesday night. This was the second nationally ranked team the Golden Grizzlies have played this season after falling in a hard-fought battle at No. 3 Michigan State, 4-2, (9/10).
- NKU is 8-3 overall and tied for seventh in league standings at 1-2 with Oakland. The Norse are led by the dangerous tandem of Alex Willis who leads the league in goals (11) and points (28) and Alex Greive who ranks first in assists (11).
- As a team, Oakland ranks fourth in conference in goals (20), assists (19), points (58) and third in saves (47). Additionally, the team earned the 2017-18 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the sixth consecutive year and ninth overall.
- Individually, Popovic leads the team and is tied for fourth in the conference in assists (6) and 10th in points (12) while
Sullivan Lauderdale is tied for third in shutouts (2) and saves (46).
Travis Harrington is tied for 10th in assists (3).
- Outlaw III (3 goals, 2 assist) ranks second on the team in points (8) followed by Harrington (3 assists, 2 goals) (7). Popovic, Outlaw III and
Jacob Moore also lead the team in goals (3) while
Corentin Diverres and
Evan Sawula rank second (2).
