ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland women's soccer team will play in the Horizon League Championship quarterfinals Monday, Oct. 29 against Northern Kentucky at 7 p.m. from the NKU Soccer Stadium. Monday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Golden Grizzlies (3-11-3, 3-3-3 HL) enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed, while the Norse (10-5-1, 6-2-1 HL) head into Monday's game as the No. 3 seed.

The winner of Monday's game will travel to host Milwaukee and take on the No. 1 seed Panthers Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in the semifinals. The Championship game will be played Saturday, November 3 at 5 p.m. (ET).

THE MATCH-UP
- Oakland will face off against NKU for the second time in just three games.
- In the first meeting, Oakland dropped a close one, 2-1 on the road. Â Emma Voelker tied the game up in the 83rd minute at 1-1, but with just three minutes remaining, NKU scored the go-ahead goal.
- Northern Kentucky enters Monday's match with an impressive 7-1-0 record at home, with its only loss coming in its regular season home finale to league favorite Milwaukee.

- Senior Maya Pascal was named to the Horizon League Women's Soccer All-Academic Team on Friday, the first to receive this honor since the 2013 season.
