
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Alfa Barry connected on his first career goal helping Oakland to a 1-1 double-overtime draw against visiting Bradley on Tuesday night at the Oakland Soccer Field.
Liam McQueenie tallied two saves in his first start of the season.
Barry fired a long shot from about 30 yards out that knuckled in the air beating Bradley goalkeeper Albert Reinwart to the right side giving Oakland a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute.
In the 25th minute,
Jimmy Todd almost put the Golden Grizzlies up 2-0 as he took a lose ball inside the box and sent in a shot past Reinwart who was out position that hit off the left post.
Bradley got the equalizer in the 46th minute of the second half off a long feed from Frank Bak to Roman Schindler who delivered a header past McQueenie.
Oakland resumes league play at Cleveland State on Sat. Oct. 27th at 6 p.m.
