
ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland men's soccer team continues Horizon League play at Milwaukee on Saturday, Oct. 20 with kick off set for 8 p.m. ET at Engelmann Stadium.
Notes:
- Milwaukee (6-6-2) currently sits fifth in the league standings with a mark of 2-2-1 a game ahead of Oakland who is tied for sixth with NKU.
- The last time out, Oakland dropped at 2-0 home decision to league leader No. 23 Wright State (10/13). The Raiders also were the third nationally ranked team Oakland has played this season. The Golden Grizzlies came up short against No. 14 Michigan, 2-1, in front of a new Oakland Soccer Field record attendance of 2,344 at the Fill the Hill Game (10/3) and fell in a hard-fought battle at No. 3 Michigan State, 4-2, (9/10).
- As a team, Oakland ranks fourth in conference in goals (23), assists (22), points (68) and third in saves (62). Additionally, the team earned the 2017-18 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the sixth consecutive year and ninth overall.
- Individually, Popovic leads the team and is tied for seventh in the conference in goals (5) and assists (6) and tied for ninth in points (16) while
Sullivan Lauderdale ranks second in saves (61) and tied for fifth in shutouts (2).

Nebojsa Popovic was named Nike Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after posting six points off three goals to lead the Golden Grizzlies to a 1-1 record for the week. He scored two goals helping Oakland to a pivotal 3-1 league win over Northern Kentucky (10/6). Popovic also scored Oakland's only goal in a 2-1 setback against No. 14 Michigan (10/3).

Napoleon Outlaw III (3 goals, 2 assist) ranks second on the team in points (8) and goals (3) followed by
Travis Harrington (3 assists, 2 goals) (7),
Jacob Moore (3 goals) (6) and
