OAKLAND HOLDS OFF UIC, 67-63

CHICAGO - Oakland placed four players in double figures led by Sha'Keya Graves and Taylor Jones with 13 points each followed 11 points from Leah Somerfield and Cierra Bond as the Golden Grizzlies held off UIC, 67-63, on Thursday night. Chloe Guingrich added six points while tying career-highs with 11 rebounds and two assists.

Oakland (10-6, 3-2 HL) recorded a conference season-high 20 assist with a season-low 10 turnovers.

The Golden Grizzlies conclude the road swing at IUPUI on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m.
