BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Austin Ricci led the Oakland men's soccer team with three shots including one on goal as the Golden Grizzlies opened the 2017 season with an exhibition match at Bowling Green consisting of three 30 minute periods on Monday night at Cochrane Soccer Stadium.

Alec Greene also recorded two shots while Spencer Nolff, Jacob Moore and Keenan King each recorded a shot on goal. The Golden Grizzlies outshot the Falcons nine to eight and had an eight to four advantage on corner kicks.

Sullivan Lauderdale, Wes Mink and Liam McQueenie each played a full period in goal while 23 total players on the roster saw action in the game.

Oakland with conclude exhibition play with a match at Louisville on Saturday, Aug. 19th at 7:30 p.m.
